Border Nordic walking provides fully qualified instructors and Nordic Walk Leaders. This is a great way to improve fitness levels in a fun way, meeting like-minded people. We offer a range of classes that are designed to suit everyone, regardless of their fitness level or health conditions.
As a keen walker and someone who loves being outdoors, I encourage everyone to take part and enjoy the fun that it can bring to our lives, by integrating it into our daily lifestyle.
Having trained as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor, specializing in getting Clients back to fitness after an injury or illness. Facilitating lifestyle changes that are achievable and can be maintained and adapted for each individual. Nordic walking is a great exercise that compliments my training programmes, and gives my clients the opportunity to explore another form of exercise at all levels, in a social and exhilarating environment.
In 2012 after thirty five years as an Orthopaedic/ Trauma Nurse I decided to take my career in a different direction and set up my own Fitness and Pilates Training company. Still helping people but no longer in a hospital environment.
This gave me the freedom to develop programmes that could help people to get back to fitness and enjoy life again, which would give them the confidence to make lifestyle changes, maintain and adapt their fitness for life.
My family are all involved in sport and exercise at all levels and we have a passion for the great outdoors. We have two Jack Russell Terriers who love to go on adventure walks, surfing, and swimming with us.
My other interests are Zumba, cycling, and cooking.
